The BVI Chamber of Commerce (BVICoC) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide via the BVICCHA website. BVICoC will not share, sell, or disclose any personal information with a third party for any purpose.
General Use of Information
You can visit the BVICoC's website anonymously, without telling us who you are, or revealing any information about yourself—including your e-mail address. Our host may collect data concerning the means by which you accessed our web page (via link or search engine), dates and time spent on our site, repeated visits, and whether you bookmarked our site. In addition, if available, the host records geographical location of the visitor’s IP address, browser type and operating system. All of this data is collected to help us improve our website and the services offered via the website. None of this data will contain personally identifiable information or be associated with you as an individual.
Database Use of Information
BVICoC maintains an up-to-date membership database on a secure server. The information collected in this database is for BVICoC use only. Membership in the BVICoC is an implied effort by the member to be known within the membership and the community, as a member in good standing, who wishes to be contacted for services and/or products. This being said, on www.bviccha.org, members contact names, addresses, websites, are available in the membership directory. The BVICoC secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized use or disclosure. When personal information is transmitted to other websites (such as credit card numbers) it is protected through the use of encryption, such as an SSL protocol.
We use “cookies” to improve the user experience and site performance, but do not store personally identifiable information in them.
Our site contains links to other websites. These sites are not covered by this privacy statement, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other sites.

The BVI Chamber of Commerce (BVICoC) has created this email privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to our member's privacy and the protection of their electronic information.
Information sent via chamber e-mail
info@bvichamber.org is used only for Chamber-originated information and/or programs or outside information and/or programs that are directly connected to the mission and vision of BVICoC.
Your email address is either listed with us as a contact who has expressly shared this email address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (opt-in), OR
You have registered or purchased or have an existing membership with us, in which you provided the BVICoC with your email address for communication purposes
We will never sell or rent individual email information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees of the BVICoC managing this information for BVICoC purposes, i.e.: contact for information, updates of events, referrals from interested parties, etc.
Each of our broadcast emails (HTML) contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receipt of BVICoC emails from us. If you wish to do this, simply click on the OPT-OUT option on the bottom of the email or reply with REMOVE in the subject line of an email to us.
We only use return email addresses to answer the email requests we receive. These email addresses are not added to our databases, nor sold or given to any other parties. Only physical addresses and phone numbers provided by visitors requesting information may be shared with subscribing BVICoC member businesses for the purposes of marketing their products/services. Only BVICoC members who provide their email addresses for use in the BVICoC online database will be contacted via email.
Please send any suspicious, unsolicited, or other electronic correspondence that is purported to be sent from our database with an unknown sender or non-chamber related email address.
